10 Amazing Anime Movies of 2018 The early months of 2018 have already seen several landmark anime films achieve worldwide success, and that shows no signs of changing anytime soon. While it is not apparent from looking at the 2018 Oscar nominations for Best Animated Film, last year saw some truly fantastic anime films released. The spring 2018 anime season is going to be great. This season marks the return of some of our favorite series. We’ll get taken on psychedelic adventures, meet new friends, and even see a familiar hero in anime form. This season will be one for the ages.

1. The 2018 LINE sticker set Poccolies is inspiring a series of anime shorts. The story of the sticker set is that a positive and honest boy named Patsuhiko lives on Pokkori Island, along with the shrewd and mysterious Ham, and a reliable older brother figure named Kangaroo. The sticker set follows their daily lives.
2. The preliminary average temperature for the Winter of 2018-2019 in Alamosa was 16.4 degrees, which is 2.6 degrees below normal. Alamosa recorded 1.86 inches of precipitation throughout the Winter. This is 0.99 inches above normal and makes the Winter of 2018-19 the 5th wettest Winter on record.

Spring is officially here, and it is one of the most awaited seasons for new anime. This year’s Spring anime are especially good, and it looks like we have lot of sequels coming this year. So sit back, and let’s go through every big Spring anime that’s going to be aired this month.

10. Highschool DxD Hero

Highschool DxD is going to make a return, and the 4th Season of the series will begin airing on April 10, 2018. It’ll be adapting the 9th and the 10th volumes of the manga, and fans are extremely excited for what’s to come.

9. Golden Kamuy

Golden Kamuy is one of the most popular manga in the recent years, and it has deservedly gotten its anime adaptation this year. Golden Kamuy is set in the earlier 20th century, and it has a story that I’m sure will be talked about even after the first season of the anime will finish airing. Golden Kamuy will begin airing on April 9.

8. Gegege no Kitaro
Gegege no Kitaro is something that you all may know about. Kitaro has famously replaced Dragon Ball Super in its timeslot, and it has already begun airing from April 1 2018. The series is set to span for over 50+ episodes, and will be celebrating is anniversary in style.

7. Tokyo Ghoul re
Tokyo Ghoul also makes its return this year, with the announcement of the Tokyo Ghoul re anime. The anime is going to adapt the manga of the same name, and will likely follow the story from the end of Tokyo Ghoul Root A, even though they may not exactly be tied properly. Tokyo Ghoul re makes its return on April 3, 2018.

Shokugeki no Souma makes its return in Spring as well, with the anime picking up from right where the previous season left off. Last year’s season did pretty well, and things will hopefully be the same this year too. The anime begins airing on April 8, 2018.

5. Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale
Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale Online marks the return of the franchise as well, and the spinoff is going to air on April 7, 2018. The anime will be an adaptation of Keiichi Sigsawa’s light novel, Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale Online.

4. My Hero Academia Season 3
My Hero Academia Season 3 will be one of the biggest anime that we’ll get this Spring, and it is going to air on April 7, 2018. The story will cover events from the Field Trip arc and onwards.

3. Captain Tsubasa
Captain Tsubasa has also made a grand return this year, and it is going to begin airing from April 2, 2018. Tsubasa has been away for a long time now, but the return is highly anticipated. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too much for the anime to begin, as it airs today.

2. Persona 5
Persona 5 is definitely one of the most awaited anime of this year. It is going to begin airing from April 7, 2018. Being one of the biggest RPG franchise from Japan, the fifth installment it is definitely going to blow up.

1. Steins;Gate 0
Steins;Gate 0 is based on the game with the same name. There are going to be a lot of recurring characters from Steins;Gate as well, and the anime is going to begin airing in April 2018.
